This publication has been designed to assist the teacher and student by using the Northern Lights International Collection as a basis for study. Playing techniques are presented in order, with additional tunes for practice within Focus Time and many references to the Northern Lights book listed at the end of each chapter for added reinforcement. Students who complete this book have a good understanding about what is involved in playing the harp recreationally and/or professionally. I call it my “sling-shot method” as it shoots harp students ahead quite quickly.
